Our intensive Darija courses are designed for students who want to develop their Moroccan Arabic in a short period through structured instruction and immersion in the language and culture. Classes cover the main language skills, including listening, speaking, reading, and writing, in small groups with experienced teachers. The curriculum combines classroom instruction with regular opportunities to use Darija beyond the classroom.
Based in Rabat, students can practice Darija in everyday situations and engage with the local environment throughout their stay, allowing them to put their learning into practice right from the start.

This course includes
20 hours of Moroccan Arabic (Darija) per week, taught in small groups
Placement test can be taken before arrival or upon arrival to determine the appropriate level and group
Cultural activities complement classroom learning, putting the morning's Darija to use out in the city
Timetable
9:30 AM to 1:30 PM, Monday to Friday
A break of approximately 30 minutes is provided during the morning.
Everything is written in Arabic script and Latin transcription side by side, so you speak from the first day.
Pricing
The weekly rate depends on the length of your enrollment. Longer enrollments benefit from a lower weekly rate.
- 1–2 weeks: $195 per week
- 3–4 weeks: $185 per week (−5%)
- 5–7 weeks: $175 per week (−10%)
- 8+ weeks: $165 per week (−15%)
+ $10 registration fee, one time
Activities
In-house cultural activities, including cooking, calligraphy, zellige, and discussion groups, are included for all students, with at least one free activity each week.
